- Mr. Neelon was named as a SuperLawyer® in International Law in Thomson Reuters’ New England SuperLawyers® publication in 2021 and 2022.
- In Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers® Business Edition Annual Directory 2018, Mr. Neelon was one of seven Massachusetts lawyers named as among the nation’s top attorneys in Business/Corporate Law.
- On November 15, 2016, Dan Neelon’s “Asia Practice Pointer: A Brief Summary of Certain Mongolian Investment and Business Laws” was published in the State Bar of Texas Asian Pacific Interest Section Newsletter, Fall 2016 edition.
- On August 1, 2016, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly published the Opinion piece authored by Dan Neelon and Caroline Schmittdiel entitled, “Federal Law and Trump’s ‘Mexican Judge’ Comments”.
- On April 22, 2016, Dan Neelon gave a seminar in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on U.S. laws and practice applicable to raising funding in the United States for Mongolian projects and on EB-5 investment immigration. The seminar was held in the Blue Sky Tower across from the Mongolian Parliament building.
- In the spring of 2014, Dan Neelon obtained his Certificate of Foreign Admitted Lawyer from the Mongolian Ministry of Justice, only the 20th such certificate issued to a foreign lawyer in Mongolia. This Certificate enables Mr. Neelon to practice law in Mongolia with respect to transnational business transactions and contracts, including those that involve U.S. law, and to perform certain other types of legal work that does not require litigating in Mongolian courts.
